In celebration of Women’s Day, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the newly elected Chief Minister of Punjab, has announced the Women on Wheels program, aiming to empower women by providing them with pink scooters. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Women on Wheels program:
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 40.
- Residency in one of the four designated districts of Punjab—Rawalpindi, Multan, Lahore, or Sargodha—is mandatory.
- As the program is exclusively for women, only female applicants are eligible.

27,000 Down Payment
The Punjab Government will provide a special subsidy of Rs. 24,975 towards the purchase of pink scooters. Additionally, the full markup on these scooters will be covered by the Pakistani government. Applicants are required to make a down payment of Rs. 27,000, with the remaining balance payable in convenient monthly installments of Rs. 1,856, allowing for completion within one year.
